The Island and Royal Manor of Portland

Home

This site has been put together by Portland Web Weavers, a small non-profit making group of people who know Portland well and want to share their love of the Island with you. On these pages you can discover the history of the Island and find out about the way we live. You will find details of local services, business and amenities, places to stay, places to eat and how to make the most of your time on the Island whether you are coming for a holiday or are planning to make it your permanent home. Dig below the surface and you will find that the Island is still a place of magic and mystery and has something to offer to people of all ages and interests.

This site will be constantly growing and changing.
