Primarily a road running club the R.M.P.A.C. has approximately 50 members. Meetings are held every Monday evening and training takes place on Thursday evenings.
Members regularly take part in local, county, national, and international road running events.

The Royal Manor of Portland Athletics Club

Athletes battle their way to the top of the Island during the Enduroman “Portland Bunny” event held every Easter weekend.

Enduroman

Enduroman events are held every year and are aimed at endurance athletes.
Events are the Chesil “ Jurassic Chalenge in August which is a triathlon , the Portland Bunny, an off road run held at Easter,nd the “Round Portland” swim which can be attempted at any time when the tides are suitable.
Enduroman’s key challenge is the Enduroman Arch to Arc, a race against the clock starting with a run from Marble Arch in London, to Dover, a cross channel swim to Calais, and a cycle ride from Calais to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
Enduroman, Edgar Ette holds the world record at 81 hours 5 mins
